Uttarakhand is a northern state of India nested in foothills of the Himalayas. Uttarakhand Foundation is a non-profit corporation formed by Indian diaspora in North America with roots in Uttarakhand, that operates exclusively for charitable and educational purposes within the Section 50l(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. The Foundation’s social wing UANA-UF organizes events and activities to celebrate the culture and heritage of Uttarakhand.
